Melih Akya was born and raised in the Ruhrgebiet area. From here he moved to Berlin 6 years ago where he lives today. He loved looking through a viewfinder since I was a kid. Whether it was a telescope, an old camera of his parents or binoculars. He was always fascinated to be able to look through a viewfinder. His roots are in basketball and producing music, from where he took his first steps into the world of filmmaking and editing.
